Fluorophosphate optical glass exhibits low dispersion, a relatively negative temperature coefficient of refractive index, and a high special relative partial dispersion value. It demonstrates excellent transmittance across the ultraviolet to near-infrared wavelength bands. Low softening point optical glass is a special type of optical material.
